Allan Romero was born and raised in The Bronx, New York. Allan is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in History with a minor in Latin American and Latino Studies. His research interests center on the intersection between Latin America's social, legal, and economic histories. Allan's current research project examines the extent to which women of varying races and social classes sought redress for gender-based violence in colonial Latin America's legal systems during the 18th and 19th centuries.
